On the 30th June 2014, the Tommy Andrews Quintet released 'The Crux', on the Jellymould Jazz label. The album was launched at The Forge, Camden, on the 17th June before the Quintet set out to spend the remainder of 2014 taking the music to jazz venues across the U.K. The release was greeted with nothing but positive press from major UK publications such as The Guardian, JazzUK and All About Jazz as well as receiving positive press in the U.S.A. from Wondering Sound.
